LANSING (WKZO) -- This Thanksgiving will see more Americans than ever before buying their holiday meal with food stamps. That's the bottom line of a new report from the non-profit government watchdog group The Sunlight Foundation.
The findings are in line with the fact that enrollment in the nation's food stamp program has shot up 70 percent since 2007. As a result, an estimated 42.2-million people will be on food stamps this Thanksgiving.
