COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) - If you are going to be hitting the stores this weekend, gift security has to become a concern. Big mall parking lots maybe patrolled at this time of the year, but the parking lots at big box stores probably aren’t.   If you are buying things, make sure you keep them in the trunk or out of sight if you are going back into stores.  It may also be a good idea to check your homeowners insurance to see if you are covered if you get robbed while shopping.  Most policies, but not all will cover such losses.  It’s a good thing to know.
