COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) - The First Presbyterian Church in Coldwater Outreach Committee has selected Coldwater Community Schools as the recipient of a donation for $534.40. The money will go towards “at risk” children in the district’s elementary schools. Outreach Committee members Beth Montgomery, Karen Long, Sandy Jackson, and David Claar made the decision to choose the local elementaries. The group obtained funds from the church's "Peacemaking" collection. Each year, a portion of these funds is given to a worthy organization in our community. Beth Montgomery, committee member and retired Coldwater Community Schools elementary school teacher asked the committee to consider “at risk” children in elementary schools in Coldwater.
