The Pistons were pounded by the Knicks 121-100 yesterday afternoon at Madison Square Garden. Detroit was down 64-to-44 at the half but cut the deficit to 8 in the third period before New York pulled away again.
Brandon Knight scored 21 points and Charlie Villanueva had 17 for the Pistons, who have alternated wins and losses over its last seven games and are now 3-and-11.Detroit’s 20 turnovers led to 33 New York points. Tonight, the Pistons play the Portland Trailblazers at the Palace.
