(WTVB)-You've heard of Black Friday and Cyber Monday, but now there is a movement to recognize a new day of giving at the beginning of the holiday season -- Giving Tuesday. 

The campaign is directed toward having people support charitable activities that, in turn, support non-profit organizations.  The campaign asks participants to take to social media today, using the hashtag #GivingTuesday on Twitter and sharing the idea on Facebook pages.  For more information, visit the Giving Tuesday website at givingtuesday.org.
