 Lion’s longshot chances of making the playoffs will go forward with defensive end Ndamukong Suh, who will not be suspended for kicking Houston Texans quarterback Matt Schaub on Thanksgiving Day. 

The NFL did not rule out fining Suh after he kicked Schaub in the groin while falling to the ground in the first quarter of an overtime loss to the Texans.

Suh for a teammate Suh, who was voted as the league's dirtiest player in a poll of his peers taken earlier this season by the Sporting News, has a well documented history with on-field rules violations. Last season, also on Thanksgiving, Suh was suspended two games for stomping on the arm of aGreen Bayoffensive lineman.

Suh is featured in the upcoming issue of ESPN the Magazine, saying he sees "multiple Super Bowl rings" in his future in Detroit. Despite being 4-and-7, Suh also says the Lions are an insanely dangerous team. Detroitreturns to action Sunday at home against the Indianapolis Colts. Week 12 of the season wrapped up last night in a matchup of last place teams atPhiladelphia, where the Eagles lost their seventh straight game, falling to the Carolina Panthers 30-to-22.
