Number-three Michigan defeated number-18 North Carolina State 79-to-72 last night at Crisler Arena in the ACC/Big Ten Challenge. The win improved the unbeaten Wolverines’ record to 6-and-0.

Freshman Nik Stauskas paced Michigan with a game-high 20 points while Trey Burke added 18 points and a career-best 11 assists with all 18 of Burke's points coming in the second half.

Michigan is back in action Saturday at Bradley. In another Challenge contest last night between ranked teams, number-one Indianarolled over 14^th-ranked North Carolina in Bloomington 83-to-59.

Tonight, it’s 13^th ranked Michigan State at Miami, Florida while in a matchup of undefeated teams, number-4 Ohio State is at 2^nd-ranked Duke.
