TORONTO (WKZO) -- Canadian auto workers have voted in favor of a labor agreement with Chrysler covering four years.
Unionized workers at the Canadian operations of Chrysler Group LLC overwhelming voted for the deal. The agreement gives workers a three-thousand dollar signing bonus and two-thousand dollar cost of living increases in each of the next four years.
The Chrysler accord was the last one reached and approved by employees of the Big Three auto makers. Unionized employees at Ford and General Motors have already ratified their contracts.
