Community Rallies Behind Teen Who Was Bullied At School

by

WEST BRANCH, MI (WTVB) -  Just days ago 16 year old Whitney Kropp was so low that she thought about killing herself. That was after classmates at a West Branch, Michigan high school pulled a prank and told Whitney her peers had named her to the school's homecoming court. But as word spread that she had been tricked and bullied, the community rallied behind her. This past weekend, dressed in a new gown, new shoes and a tiara and with a new hairdo and makeover, Whitney attended the school's homecoming football game. And she beamed as a thousand people packed the stadium, most there because they wanted to support her.

School officials aren’t saying what they have planned for the perpetrators of the prank.
