LANSING (WTVB) - The numbers keep rising in that fungal meningitis outbreak and the potential is there for it to keep rising. It’s now claimed a third Michigander and 25 are now confirmed to be ill. Nationally the numbers are 119 ill and 11 dead.

Hundreds of worried Michiganders have been notified that they have also gotten one of the tainted shots.  State Health Department Spokesperson Angela Minicuci says the 3 people from Michigan who have died were all women, a 56-year old from Genesee County, a 67 year old from Livingston County and a 78-yer-old from Washtenaw County.
