DETROIT (WKZO) -- The handyman accused of murdering a Grosse Pointe woman is scheduled to be arraigned next Tuesday on murder charges.
Last week, attorneys for Joseph Gentz waived a preliminary exam saying there was no strategic need for it. Law experts are speculating that there may be a plea deal in the works. Gentz is charged with murdering Jane Bashara last January. He has said that Bashara's husband Robert hired him to do so.
In the meantime, Robert Bashara is in jail on charges of solicitation of murder, accused of trying to hire a hit man to kill Gentz.
