UNDATED (WKZO) -- The first dozen cases of flu have been recorded by state health officials as they track the beginning of the virus, which is arriving right on its usual schedule.

State health officials say they have detected the Type B virus and two different types of the Type-A. They are urging everyone over the age of 6 months to get a flu shot, to protect themselves from the virus.
