BATAVIA TOWNSHIP, BRANCH CO, MI (WTVB) - The Branch County Sheriff’s Department says the search is continuing for a 10-year old boy who left his home around 7:30 this morning and disappeared into a wooded area in BataviaTownship. They’re looking for the emotionally challenged youngster in the area of Hodunk and Miller Lake roads. A police helicopter and a canine corps have joined the effort. The boy was wearing a dark blue hoodie and gray pants. Anyone who has seen him is asked to contact the Sheriff’s Department.
