COLDWATER (WTVB) - For years, the Wal-Mart Distribution Center north of Coldwater has been a community partner, especially with their annual fund raiser for food bank programs. The center’s latest donation announced at this week’s Coldwater School Board meeting goes to Legg Middle School with the money to be used for technology upgrades.

It’s a $3,100 gift and it’s the result of a designated “week without accidents” at the Distribution Center. Drivers accumulated 3,100 accident-free miles and elected to turn each mile into a dollar, turning those bucks over to the middle school
