COLDWATER (WTVB) - Officially in the record books for October 26th, 2012, it will read the high temperature in Coldwater for the day was 70 degrees because that was the reading at 12:15 this morning. But 15 minutes later, it dropped to 59 as a cold front arrived and by 1:15 a.m., it was down to 55 degrees and continued to plunge the rest of the early morning hours. So after two summer like days in Southwest Michigan, its going to seem a lot more like late October or even early November around here this weekend.
Some forecasters are saying we could have a white Halloween if the remnants of Hurricane Sandy hit theU.S.in a way that some are predicting, and bring snow. Some say that would be better than the alternative forecast for trick or treaters, which is a cold rain. In the short term, though, our attire went from short sleeves Thursday to sweatshirt and jacket weather just that quickly.
