The 2012-13 regular season tips off tonight with a trio of games, highlighted by the reigning world champion Miami Heat opening defense of their title against the visiting Boston Celtics in a rematch from last spring's Eastern Conference Finals.

The Los Angeles Angels will also be in action at home with a marquee matchup against the Dallas  Mavericks, while the Cleveland Cavaliers will host the Washington Wizards.

The Pistons start their schedule with a home game tomorrow night at the Palace against the Houston Rockets.
