BRONSON, MI (WTVB) - It’s Halloween 2012 and October 31st this year and going forward will always be remembered in the Branch County community of Bronson as the day last year when two teenage brothers, Byron and Manny Smith, were killed in a traffic accident on Kosmerick Road in Bethel Township.
Fifteen-year old Byron and 17-year old Manny were Bronson high school students and family and friends of the boys have organized an event which was noted on Facebook as a launch of several hundred balloons in a rainbow of colors immediately after classes this afternoon in hopes of turning this tragedy into a positive celebration of the Smith boys growing wings on October 31st, 2011
