The Red Wings have signed forward Justin Abdelkader to a four-year deal and defenseman Carlo Colaiacovo to a two-year deal.  Abdelkader was Detroit’s second-round pick in the 2005 NHL Entry Draft and had a career-best 22 points last season with the Red Wings. Colaiacovo comes to Detroit after spending the past four seasons with the St. Louis Blues.
