Michigan State coach Mark Dantonio said Tuesday at his weekly news conference that he needed to show more patience last weekend against Notre Dame and he takes part of the blame for the 20-to-3 loss to the Fighting Irish. Dantonio said he thought he got a bit impatient in the second half when the Spartans only ran the ball six times. Next up for the M-S-U is Eastern Michigan at home on Saturday and then a week from Saturday, the Spartans play Ohio State in East Lansing.
Week 3 of the season kicks off tonight with a Mid-American Conference contest as Kent State plays at Buffalo.
