GRAND RAPIDS (WTVB) - Bill Gates and Warren Buffet are still the top two billionaires on this year’s list of the Forbes 400. The controversial and conservative Koch brothers are close behind, and then come a gaggle of Walton family heirs. These aren’t the 1%, they are the top tenth of a percent. Forbes Magazine Managing Editor Bruce Upbin says that 2/3rds of them made more money in the last year, but not all of them. Mark Zuckerburg from Facebook lost almost half his wealth. Rich Devos of Amway is now the richest Michigander with 5.1-billion in assets. He comes in at 67th on the Forbes list. Grocery heirs Hank and Doug Meijer are close behind, tied at #69. Further down the list, Rhonda Stryker is among the richest women in the country at 179th. Former Stryker CEO John Brown and Jon Stryker share the 360th spot on the Forbes 400 list.
