WASHINGTON D.C. (WTVB) -The chairman of the House Intelligence Committee still has plenty of questions about an attack in Libya that killed four Americans nearly two weeks ago. Michigan Congressman Mike Rogers tells CNN's "State of the Union" says it's still unclear who was behind it. Rogers thinks it was probably al-Qaeda or an affiliated terrorist group. He also isn't sure if Ambassador Christopher Stevens was the intended target or if it was just a coincidence that Stevens was there.
The Obama administration is backing off earlier claims that the attack came during a protest over an anti-Muslim video. Rogers says he's seen no information there was a protest outside the consulate that night.
