KALAMAZOO (WKZO) -- WMU President John Dunn has come up with an Idea that he hopes will make the college’s graduates more marketable. He wants to find a way to take the extra curricular activities that students do, the internships and job related projects, the community service efforts and other experiences, and put them into some sort of record they can take with them.
He introduced the idea at Friday’s State of the University Address, saying he plans to take a year to explore the idea.'
Dunn says Friday’s date marked the introduction of another pioneering idea in WMU’s history. It was the day that former President John Bernhardt announced that the university would soon require that every graduate become computer literate, becoming the first in the nation to do so.
