STURGIS (WTVB) - He tried to out run Sturgis police on a bicycle, but even a blood system full of meth couldn’t make him that fast. Late Sunday night a Sturgis officer spotted a familiar suspect he knew was wanted on warrants pedaling through town. The 47-year-old suspect was able to initially elude them, but they kept looking and he resurfaced and this time they were able to chase him down and make the arrest. They found marijuana and Meth packaged for sale on his person. On top of the two outstanding warrants, they intend to pile on drug counts, distribution charges, three counts of resisting officers and possession of drug paraphernalia.
