Week Five of the season starts tonight when eighth-ranked Stanford plays at Washington.

And Western Michigan senior quarterback Alex Carder will miss the Bronco’s Mid-American Conference season opener Saturday night in Kalamazoo against West Division rival Toledo. Carder suffered an injury to his throwing hand during the third quarter of W-M-U’s win last weekend over Connecticut. Filling in for Carder will be junior Tyler Van Tubbergen.
