Red Wings fans will have to wait even longer to see their team in action as the NHL has cancelled the remainder of the preseason schedule for 2012. The move comes a week after the league scrubbed September’s preseason games and NHL officials say the action was necessary because of the absence of a Collective Bargaining Agreement. The players were locked out by the owners when the previous agreement ended September 15th. The NHL and the players union are scheduled to resume talks today.
