BATTLE CREEK, MI (WKZO) -- The career of a young educator may be over before it’s begun because he must have missed the lesson about not having sex with students.
The Calhoun County Prosecutor has signed a warrant charging a 23-year-old WMU student with First Degree Criminal Sexual Conduct for allegedly developing a sexual relationship with a 15-year-old girl at Battle Creek Central High..
The older male was a Graduate student from WMU, working an internship as an athletic trainer at the High School. He was removed from the program as soon as the allegations surfaced.
Somehow the girl’s mother found out about it and called State Police. Many of the inappropriate contacts reportedly took place on school property. The suspects name may not be released until he is formally charged.
