ACME (WKZO) -- Michigan Governor Rick Snyder has repeated again that artwork from the Detroit Institute of Arts will not be sold as part of the city's Chapter 9 bankruptcy filing.  Since the city filed a few weeks ago, the DIA has been the subject of speculation since the collection of art is likely worth billions of dollars.

Emergency Manager Kevyn Orr has also stated a number of times no artwork will be sold.  He did hire Christie's Auction House to appraise the art, but Snyder told reporters "you have to provide information to the court and you have to go value assets."
