TRAVERSE CITY (WKZO) -- Faced with a potential Tea Party challenge in 2014, Republican state Senator Howard Walker will not seek a second term. Walker said he wants to spend more time with his family, but was also being targeted by the far-right wing of the GOP for his support of Governor Rick Snyder's Medicaid expansion proposal. Walker denies the vote set for later this month had anything to do with his decision.
