BROOKLYN, MI (WTVB) - Austin Dillon is taking the spot of injured NASCAR driver Tony Stewart this weekend at Michigan International Speedway. The Nationwide Series points leader will drive the number-14 car in Sunday's Sprint Cup Pure Michigan 400. Stewart was released from the hospital on Sunday after suffering a broken leg in a crash a week ago yesterday during a sprint race at a speedway in Iowa. He was replaced in this past weekend's Cup race at Watkins Glen by Max Papis, who finished 15th.
We’ll have a pair of races from MIS on the radio this week starting with Saturday’s Camping World Truck Series Michigan National Guard 200 and then live coverage as well on Sunday of the Pure Michigan 400 on AM 1590 and FM 95.5 with both broadcasts beginning at 12 Noon.
