DETROIT (WKZO) -- Aretha Franklin, who has canceled concerts and public appearances in recent months due to health issues, says that her recovery is nothing short of miraculous. The 71-year-old Queen of Soul says she is resting and taking good care of herself and plans to record another album. Despite her progress Franklin is not expected to attend Major League Baseball's Beacon Awards Luncheon this weekend where she was to be honored with the Beacon of Change Award.
