GRAND RAPIDS, MI (WTVB) - The American Red Cross of West Michigan has named Joe Corrado as a new Major Gifts Officer for the region. Corrado joined the Red Cross in late-November and brings more than 35 years in non-profit support, including 30 years which focused on fundraising. Corrado was previously a Major Gifts Officer for the Michigan Masonic Charitable Foundation. Corrado also brings fund development experience from positions at the American City Bureau, Christopher House Agency in Chicago, and the Boys & Girls Clubs of Chicago.
“I am very excited and honored to become a new member of the American Red Cross of West Michigan,” Corrado said. “I have joined a fantastic organization with an undeniable mission that is supported by the greatest team of professionals, volunteers, and supporters one can be a part of.”
As a Major Gifts Officer, Corrado will build and maintain relationships with individuals, companies, and foundations to establish sponsorships, grants and gifting programs.
“We are pleased to welcome Joe to the Red Cross,” said Dean Herried, Regional Chief Development Officer with the Red Cross of West Michigan. “His years of experience will be very helpful as we continue to find new ways to meet our community’s needs in West Michigan.”
