UNDATED (WTVB) - Ice snow and slippery conditions couldn’t stop shoppers this past weekend. There were some bargains, but a lot of the shoppers were more interested in just getting the whole thing over with, as procrastinators hit stores in Michigan this final weekend before Christmas.
Some came out to take advantage of a 10% discount offered by Target stores after the revelation that someone hacked into the credit card numbers of 40,000,000 Target customers. Many retail analysts say it seems to have worked. Store owners have not only had to deal with a short shopping season and nervousness about the economy, but one of the snowiest and coldest Decembers in recent memory.
