ORLANDO, FL (WTVB) - It’s a special way to end 2013 and to usher in 2014 for the Quincy High School cheerleading squad. The girls arrived in Orlando, Florida on December 29th and they will be taking part in tomorrow’s New Year’s Day Capital One Bowl festivities. They will be cheerleading during the pregame activities prior to the one p.m. game between Wisconsin and South Carolina. The squad and their chaperones will begin their return trip tomorrow night. Again, congratulations to the Quincy cheerleaders and their coaches, Marian McLain and Emily Singer, and all those in the community who helped with all of the fundraising activities that made the trip to Orlando possible. The cheerleaders are Bobbie Luckadoo, Kelsea Drallier, Lorin Hammond, Gwen Davis, Maddie Winger, Claire Harbaugh, Kyla Tipton, Nina Hunkeler, Jordan Commin, Kelsey Harmon, Kayla Kegler, Kailey Thorn, Angel Heffner, Makayla White and Shelby Gilbert.
