AURBURN HILLS (WKZO) -- Chrysler Group reported January sales today that were the best in five years.
Sales increased for the 34th consecutive month and were up by 16-percent compared to one year ago. The Jeep division did see a decline in sales, however that was anticipated as the company ended the production of the Jeep Liberty and will debut its replacement later this year.
Dodge sales were 37-percent higher, up by 31-percent for Fiat, 18-percent for Chrysler and RAM sales increased 14-percent.
