The Pistons’ second half rally against the Lakers fell just short and Los Angeles nipped Detroit 98-to-97 Sunday afternoon at the Palace. The Pistons fought back after trailing by as many as 18 points in the third quarter.
Greg Monroe's 20 points and 12 boards led the way for Detroit. Will Bynum netted 18 points and had 10 assists off the bench for the Pistons, who have dropped three of their last four to slide to 18-and-30. Tonight, Detroit plays the Knicks in New York.
