Michigan has been replaced by Indiana as the top team in the nation in the latest Associated Press poll. Michigan, who hosts number ten Ohio State tonight, fell to third place behind Florida following the Wolverines loss Saturday night at Indiana. The Hoosiers, the pre-season number one, held the top spot for the first five weeks of the regular season. They reclaimed the number one ranking after previous number two Kansas also went down to defeat on Saturday.
Kansas slips to fifth place with Duke fourth. It’s the fifth straight week there’s a new number one team. The top five teams in the AP poll are ranked the same in this week’s USA Today Coaches poll. Michigan State has moved up to eighth in the Coaches poll and is number 12 in the AP poll. M-S-U hosts Minnesota tomorrow night at the Breslin Center.
