The Pistons will play host tonight to the Brooklyn Nets at the Palace.
The league announced Tuesday it was suspending Lakers forward Metta World Peace for one game without pay for punching Detroit guard Brandon Knight. World Peace grabbed Knight around the neck and struck him in the jaw during Sunday's win by Los Angeles in Auburn Hills.
The former Ron Artest served his suspension last night when the Lakers topped the Nets in Brooklyn 92-to-83. Artest was also part of the infamous brawl between the Pistons and Pacers at The Palace in November of 2004. The Pistons take an 18-and-31 record into tonight’s game against Brooklyn
