Wednesday and was only free for about 10 minutes before he was spotted walking along State St. by two Coldwater officers. They had to chase him down on foot and after a brief struggle, he was cuffed and returned to a more secure cell at the jail.
Barber was being held while awaiting extradition to Florida for violating parole on an aggravated assault charge. He was originally taken into custody Monday night. He now faces two additional felonies for escape and resisting arrest.
