Wednesday was National Signing Day with Michigan landing a top ten class of recruits for the second straight year with one scouting service ranking the Wolverines’ haul the second best in the country. Michigan got the top-rated running back in the nation, Derrick Green from Virginia and a four star quarterback in Shane Morris from Warren De La Salle. And at Michigan State, coach Mark Dantonio said they landed a talented class top to bottom with the Spartans’ group this year listed as 39th in the nation by Rivals.com. Nationally, ESPN ranks the top five recruiting classes as Alabama, Florida, Ohio State, Notre Dame and Ole Miss.
