AUBURN HILLS, MI - Detroit Pistons center Andre Drummond is expected to miss four to six weeks with a fractured tailbone. The rookie from UConn is not expected to need surgery. Drummond was limited to five and eight minutes in his last two games for the Pistons. He has been averaging seven points and seven-and-a-half rebounds per game this season.
Despite the setback, Detroit was post a 119-109 win against the San Antonio Spurs at the Palace behind 26 points, 16 rebounds, and 5 assists from Greg Monroe. Brandon Knight helped out with 24 points, while Charlie Villanueva chipped in with 21 off the bench for Detroit, which snapped a three-game slide. The Pistons return to action tonight at Milwaukee.
