HOWELL (WKZO) -- A preliminary exam has been set for next month for the man charged with a rash of shootings along I-96.

On Monday, Judge Carol Reader scheduled a preliminary exam for 43-year-old Raulie Casteel for March 27th and 29th.  He faces several charges including assault with intent to murder and terrorism.

Casteel has been charged in connection with 24 shooting incidents last October in four counties.  One person was injured in the apparently random shootings.
