DEARBORN (WKZO) -- Ford Motor Company is teaming up with PlugShare to help folks with plug-in vehicles find those plugs.

PlugShare has thousands of charging stations across North America.  With a new cell phone app, motorists can now use their smart phones to find out just where those stations are and how to get to them.

Ford's Kelly Zekel says if a person is looking for a pizza place in Chicago, they just plug the location into their phone and the app will tell them how close that place is to a charging station.  Additionally, while the driver is enjoying a slice, the phone will monitor and manage their battery charging process.
