Detroit Lions secondary coach Tim Walton is expected to be named the St. Louis Rams new defensive coordinator. Various reports say the deal could be in place today. Walton has spent the past four seasons in Detroit.

Meanwhile, former Bills safety George Wilson is expected to meet with the Lions today. Wilson was let go by Buffalo Monday in a salary cap move after spending 8 years with the Bills.
