COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) - Pump prices are creeping closer to four-dollars a gallon in Branch County and Southwest Michigan.  Triple-A says gas prices are a dime higher than last week, averaging three-dollars-84 cents a gallon in west Michigan.  

Some stations in the Coldwater area on Friday jumped to $3.93 a gallon. That's 20 to 30 cents above the national average. Analysts say rising wholesale gas prices and refinery problems are fueling the spike
