NASCAR is back and the 2013 schedule starts tonight with the Sprint Unlimited pre-season race at Daytona International Speedway. A five car crash occurred in the opening minutes of Friday's practice at Daytona forcing Kurt Busch, Carl Edwards and Mark Martin to use their backup cars for tonight's 75-lap event. NASCAR's new Generation-6 car is making its competition debut in the race as well. A week from tomorrow, it’s the Daytona 500.
Our season long racing coverage on AM 1590 and FM 95.5, including every Sprint Cup series race, begins tonight with the Sprint Unlimited with our broadcast starting at 7 o’clock.
