LANSING (WKZO) -- More power is coming from renewable energy sources, and the state appears to be on track to have ten-percent of all electricity coming from those sources by 2015 except in Detroit.  The Michigan Public Service Commission says in 2012, the rate climbed to 4.7-percent, up from 4.4-percent in 2011 and 3.6-percent in 2010.

There are now 14 wind farms operating in Michigan, with 815 megawatts of new capacity added last year.  Wind is the primary source of renewable energy in the state.
