Grapefruit League Play For The Tigers Starts Saturday

Spring training continues for the Tigers in Lakeland. The ace of the staff, Justin Verlander, who turned 30-years old on Wednesday, faced live hitters for the first time this year, throwing about 50 pitches during batting practice. Detroit begins Grapefruit League play tomorrow against Atlanta with their spring home opener against the Blue Jays on Saturday.
