WASHINGTON, DC (WTVB) - Three Michigan Congressmen, inclding Branch County's representative in the Lower Chamber, are being recognized by a conservative group based in Washington, D.C. West Michigan has two of the most conservative members in the U.S. House according to a prominent lobbying firm. The American Conservative Union's 2012 scorecard has Congressman Bill Huizenga tied with mid-Michigan Congressman Tim Walberg for being the most conservative lawmakers from Michigan. They voted with the group's agenda 96% of the time. Grand Rapids Republican Justin Amash came in with an 84% mark after a libertarian group last month called him the state's most conservative lawmaker. Congressman Fred Upton came in at 76%.
