LANSING,MI (WTVB) -There has been another death in Michigan due to that fungal meningitis outbreak.  State health officials aren’t releasing any information about the victim. They also say there have been 3 more infections discovered, bringing the total to 249 in the state, resulting in 16 deaths so far.

It’s all being blamed on tainted steroid injections from a Massachusetts compounding pharmacy.  Michigan has been the hardest hit of any state. The tainted shots went to four clinics in Michigan, none of them in the Southwest corner of the state.
