COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) - Schools all across the region decided to keep their buses off the roads Wednesday, after a mix of rain, sleet, and snow fell over southern lower Michigan Tuesday night and Wednesday morning. All schools in Branch County, including Coldwater, Quincy, Bronson, Union City, Tekonsha, St Charles Borromeo Elementary, St Mary's in Bronson, and the Branch Intermediate School District all made the call Wednesday morning. Pansophia Academy and most Hillsdale County schools made the call Tuesday evening.

The National Weather Service Winter Weather Advisory has been extended through 10 am Wednesday.
